The Problem

The CRO (conversion rate optimization) and creative department lacked the structure and scalability needed to support a growing company. Processes were undefined, testing was inconsistent, and output was limited by both resources and operational inefficiencies.

Role

As Creative Manager, I led the expansion and transformation of the CRO + creative department by collaborating with Analysts and Account Managers for feedback, and defining and implementing new process.
It's non-stop work in identifying pain points and turning them into positive outcomes through consistent refinement and the willingness to just be better. That requires looking at all aspects of a department, from sales and onboarding to deliverables and retention.

Approach

  • Built structured processes that identified and tackled pain points, including testing frameworks, resource tools and a communication protocol as to help with efficiency for multiple teams.
  • Mentored team members through regular 1:1s, focusing on both technical skill development and individual growth goals as to increase moral and accountability.

Results

  • Departments led to significant multi-year growth and played a key role in improving business performance. 
  • Increased efficiency and output of deliverables to clients through well-defined process and tools to use. 
  • Increased efficiencies in other teams such as account management and analysts by defining communication protocols for tasks and processes.
